"Learn To Curl" and Skip School

You've seen it on the Olympics, you've heard the buzz about it, you know you've always wanted to try it! Here's your chance. 

We will be hosting an Open House on August 11th, 730pm, at the Oilers Ice Center. We'll have all four curling sheets open for this dual purpose event:

Learn To Curl

New to curling? This is the event for you. Some of our experienced curlers will be on hand to introduce you to the game. They'll teach you some of the basics and show you how to throw a stone. You'll even get a chance to throw a few stones yourself. It'll be just enough to get you hooked on the game. Trust us! 

Everything you need will be provided for you. All you need to bring is a willingness to learn. 

Skip School and Practice Ice

This is for our curlers that have a little experience but are ready to go to the next level. Our experienced curlers will be on hand to cover advanced topics related to being a team skip, game strategy and calling plays. 


If you're ready to move beyond simply throwing stones and sweeping the ice or if you just need some extra practice then this is for you!
